The goal of a parent or loved one of an addicted teen is to get them help. To get their addicted teen clean and off the path to self-harm and onto the path of better health and choices sounds easier than it is actually is. You have to convince a teen with addiction that they need to stop their self-injurious behaviours and instead go away to live in a drug rehab for girls. This will never be a preferred choice for an addicted teen. They will probably kick and scream emotionally and physically, anything to avoid a big change in their lives.
